X-ray Escape Peak

Small peak at slightly lower energy (CdZnTe: -27 / -24 keV, Ge: -11 keV) as the main photo peak. Also found in the medium energy range. Is caused by the detector material exhibiting x-ray fluorescence, where a fluorescence photon leaves the detector.
